Stalnox are the bony counterparts of Hinox. They’re still big but not chubby at all and can only be fought at night, between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Since, during the day, they appear as just a pile of bones with nothing remarkable, they might be a little easy to miss, so here’s the location of all Stalnox in Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.
Stalnox on the Surface
There’s only a handful of Stalnox on Hyrule’s surface, and they’re a tad shy. The thing is that they won’t wake up if Link is too close to, or watching them. So use this map to know their locations, but don’t be exactly at the spot when night falls, or they will remain dormant.
Stalnox in the Depths
Since it’s always dark here, the Stalnox in the depths are active at all times, so you don’t have to worry about checking the game’s clock. They’re also covered in gloom, and a few of them are in enclosed spaces, so be sure to take some Sunny meals with you!
Tips for defeating the Stalnox
Much like the Hinox, the lone eye they’ve got it’s their weak spot, so stun them by hitting it with an arrow or have Tulin’s avatar do so. An additional thing that happens with them is that, when they’re low on health, their eye will fall to the ground. Make the most of this moment and hit it with the best you’ve got, as they’ll take a lot of damage. Also, mirroring the actions of Hinox who throw stones at you, Stalnox will try to knock you out with their own ribs (which is a little bit funny), the ribs are also infected with gloom and seem to be endless, so be wary of that.
