Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact Pre-Order Bonus and Deluxe Edition Detailed

Bushiroad Games have officially announced the release date for Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact, the upcoming 2D fighter based on the hit anime series. The game is slated to launch on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch later this year, and the publisher has opened pre-orders across all major storefronts.

Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact Pre-Order Bonus

Players who pre-order Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact will receive an alternate costume color variation for a character depending on the platform they purchase it on.

Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition on Steam or PS5 will also receive 48 hours of early access as a bonus. The alternate colors for different platforms are a fun addition that was quite common in fighting games during the seventh console generation.

There’s also a Deluxe Edtion for Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact, priced at $75, which includes the following content:

• HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT Full Game
• Season Pass 1
  • 2 additional characters (Neferpitou, Character 2, Character 3, Character 4)
  • Character alternate costume (Chrollo)

We’re assuming this means that two additional characters will be available at launch, while two more will be added later on.

Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact Deluxe Edition Season Pass 1 Schedule

The first Season Pass includes four additional characters, who will be added to the roster according to the schedule below

Only one character has been confirmed so far, and we expect to see the second character leading up to the release.

Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact Rollback Netcode and Crossplay

While the developers have confirmed that Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact will have rollback netcode, we’re still unsure if the title will also come with crossplay support. We hope that the feature is under consideration as most modern fighting games come with crossplay at launch, which leads to a healthy player base across platforms.

Rollback Netcode is also limited to just Steam and the PS5 version.

Hunter X Hunter Nen X Impact Release Date

Hunter X Hunter Nen X is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2025. We’re unsure at this point if this will ever come to Xbox platforms.

Overall, we’re elated to see the return of 3v3 fighters and hope that Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact delivers. Additionally, it’s great that the title hasn’t been developed as an arena fighter which is very common with anime-based fighting games.
