The Twinkling Fantasy event for Pokemon GO has just released and is expected to run until Monday January 16, 10:00 PM local time. During this event, you’ll be able to get double XP and additional Candy for catching Pokemon with nice, great, and excellent throws. And if you happen to be above level 31, there’s even a boosted chance that you’ll get an XL Candy.
But Twinkling Fantasy for Pokemon GO will also be releasing new wild encounters. Here’s what you can expect to find.
All Possible Wild Encounters in Pokemon GO’s Twinkling Fantasy Event
Twinkling Fantasy is all about the magical things in life, and that includes the Pokemon you’ll find available. These Pokemon will almost all exclusively be Fairy and Dragon Types. There are 13 Pokemon that will be a part of the Wild Encounter Pool, with two Pokemon falling into the rare category.
Those Pokemon are:
- Clefairy
- Clefable
- Jigglypuff
- Dratini
- Togetiic
- Marill
- Ralts
- Vibrava
- Bagon
- Deino
- Dedenne
The two rare encounters are:
- Goomy
- Noibat
The possible Pokemon in the Wild Encounter Pool that can be Shiny are:
- Clefairy
- Jigglypuff
- Dratini
- Togetic
- Marill
- Ralts
- Bagon
- Deino
- Dedenne
- Noibat
I’m honestly heartbroken that Shiny Goomy won’t be available. I want a Dragon Quest gold slime in Pokemon GO.

It’s worth noting that there are also Pokemon that can be found when you take snapshots. The two Pokemon that will barge into your pictures are Dratini and Jigglypuff, who can both show up in these snapshot encounters as Shiny. These encounters can only happen twice a day.
Catching any of the Pokemon on this list will also go towards completing the Collection Challenge, which will reward you with Salamence Mega Energy, a Charge TM, and Fast TM.
