Wii & Virtual Console saves may transfer to Wii U

In a developer roundtable discussion that took place at E3 today, Nintendo revealed that it’s looking to transfer Wii content over to the Wii U.

“We are readying the system, yes, to transfer saves and everything you’ve bought,” said Nintendo EAD designer Katsuya Eguchi, according to a report by Joystiq.

If it works, it could smooth out the transition from the Wii to the Wii U.
