Sick kickflip, bruh, now lets see you grind that rail for actual cred. That, or you could just play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 this September, either/or. That’s right! After numerous leaks, pro skater oopsies, and more, the Tony Hawk revival we’ve all been waiting for has been confirmed with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and it’s coming this September.

Even better, a reveal trailer has also been shared thanks to Geoff Keighley’s new Summer Games event going on now:

The remastered project has been leaked quite a few times in recent months, most notably from professional skater Jason Dill and the band that was responsible for licencing a few key tracks for the skating game. Now that it’s confirmed, skateboarders all over the world can relive those glorious ollie movies in this generation’s graphics and the experience will be available for all this September.

“The challenge of a faithful remaster is knowing where to push the boundaries, and what to keep sacred,” said Vicarious Visions COO Simon Ebejer in a recent press release. “It’s important to capture the original experience.” He added that the entire purpose of this project was to bring a classic that spawned a generation of games into this generation of gaming and make it feel as if it were a whole new experience without abandoning what made it so special.

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remaster will include updated visuals to all original levels and characters while also providing extra challenges for characters to try out when performing impressive tricks and sick landings. The team also made vast improvements to the Create-a-Park mode as well with all-new multiplayer modes for gamers to enjoy both online and locally.

Remember what a killer soundtrack this game had? It’s back with a few new additions as well, making this experience perfect for those that loved the franchise when it first began and for those that may have missed out on the glory days of kick-flips, ollie grinds, and so much more.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store on September 4th, 2020. Excited? Sound off with your thoughts and hype over on Twitter @PrimaGames, we’d love to hear what you’re looking forward to the most!
