A New Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Game Is Coming This Year According to Pro Jason Dill

According to pro skater Jason Dill, a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game is coming down the pipeline this year.

Back in March, a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title was leaked thanks to the band The Death Set prematurely posting about licensing 5 new songs for a new Tony Hawk 2020 game. Now another name is confirming a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game is on the way, this time from pro skater Jason Dill.

In the video below at the 1:35 mark, interested fans can hear Jason Dill talking about the upcoming game. “Do you guys know that there’s a new Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarder coming out in 2020,” he asked. He then added that he heard that Shaun is in it, presumably talking about Shaun White who is another notable pro skater. You can hear what Dill had to say in the most recent episode of Stop and Chat with The Nine Club featuring Chris Roberts:

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games were legendary back in the day though the series has dropped off dramatically, even more so after a few disappointing spin-offs. The franchise’s successful launch began back in 1999 and spanned across 17 games total with the iconic man himself, Tony Hawk, as the face. It was immersive, especially for its time, with soundtracks that were beyond killer. Skaters and gamers alike have been wondering if a revival would ever occur, especially since we are very much in a golden age of nostalgia, and it looks like all of those leaks and rumors could finally be becoming a reality.

With the Summer Games Fest going on over the next couple of months and tons of surprise reveals planned, a confirmation of a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game could be coming soon, even more so now that two insiders have spilled the proverbial beans. Hopefully, we will have an announcement trailer and release date information soon!
