While the acclaimed 2015 RPG from CD Projekt Red for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch had been long rumored to be releasing a remaster in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022, previous delays and radio silence from CD Projekt Red began to call that information into question.
However, thanks to the latest announcement directly from the developers, we can officially mark the date in our Bestiaries for when gamers can finally make their return to the Northern Realms on the latest gaming systems. Here is everything you need to know about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next-gen remaster.
When is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen Upgrade Releasing?
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s latest update will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on December 14, 2022, just a month away as of this writing. According to the game’s official Twitter account, “The next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming on December 14th, free for everyone who already owns the game.”
CD Projekt Red also unveiled an upcoming presentation of gameplay, as the tweet continued, “For more details and gameplay reveal, tune in to REDstreams next week on [CD Projekt Red’s Twitch Channel].”
Will There Be Any Other Witcher-Related Releases in 2022?
