The Lord of the Runs: Gollum Delayed Again
“Over the last years, our team has been working hard to bring you a remarkable story in a breathtaking world, filled with magic and wonder,” their Twitter statement read. “We are dedicated to meeting our community’s expectations and uncovering the untold story of Gollum in a way that honors the vision of J. R. R. Tolkien.
That being said, in order to deliver the best possible experience, we have decided to push the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by a few months.”
As for when fans can expect the Daedalic Entertainment title to release, no new date has been set. Instead, they left fans with the following message: “We will update you with an exact timing in the near future.”
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was announced in 2019 and was originally supposed to release in 2021 but was delayed until September 1, 2022. With yet another delay in place, fans just have to wait for what is hopefully the final, locked-in date before they can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
