The Garo x FFXIV Collaboration is Finally Returning

The collaboration was originally released in January of 2017 with patch 3.5. The content was in the game until October of 2019 when it was removed in Patch 5.1 and has not returned since.

Now we have confirmation that the Garo event, and all of the mounts, armor, titles, and more that were originally included will return. It will all come back at some point during patch 6.1, whether at launch or shortly after.

The image used to promote the event during the stream states that the collab will be updated to include Shadowbringers and Endwalker jobs into the fold. This means you can expect to see armor for Dancer, Gunbreaker, Reaper, and Sage.

There wasn’t a new trailer to showcase the updated event, but they did obtain the rights to show the old promotional video, which can be seen below.

Patch 6.1 for FFXIV will launch on April 12, 2022. The reveal trailer is packed with a ton of new information.
