When NetherRealm Studios confirmed that Robocop was the latest crossover kharacter to be added to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, fans were instantly thrilled with the prospect of seeing Robocop and the Terminator going head-to-head once more. It looks like the studio is on that same wavelength because they just released a new Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath trailer that is literally just that: Robocop vs. Terminator.
From two comics to the SNES and Genesis games, the Robocop vs. Terminator showdown is nothing new but boy does it look glorious in Mortal Kombat 11. Two videos, two different outcomes – same epic battle:
Ever since its humble beginnings in the early 90s, the feud between these two characters has been a hot topic in our gaming and comic communities and it looks like Mortal Kombat 11 is looking to carry on that torch in the best way possible. The latest two trailers may be all about Terminator and Robocop, but the Aftermath DLC on the way later this month is much more than just the latest kharacter addition. From familiar stages making their return to a new story continuing where we left off with Lui Kang and Raiden looking to right the wrongs of Kronika, there is so much on the way for those still getting their Fatalities on in the latest Mortal Kombat game.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch players. The Aftermath DLC is also on the way, coming in hot on May 26th!
