New “High-End” Mass Effect Gear Sparks Trilogy Remaster Hopes Once More

A few new apparel pieces are now available for Mass Effect fans, though what fans really want is a trilogy remaster.

While many N7 fans were hoping for a Mass Effect trilogy remaster reveal during the recent EA Play, it looks like the long-rumored fan-ask is stuck in the rumor pile for now. Despite being years since its closure of Shepard’s story, new Mass Effect gear is constantly coming out and added to that growing option list is a few “high-end” apparel choices for fans to choose from. Still no remaster though.

The newest additions to the growing N7 line comes from Ark8 and features a MA-1 flight jacket, a track jacket, and track pants ranging from $165 – $72 respectively. While the flight jacket looks dope, the stylization wasn’t enough to stop fans from responding with “Mass Effect trilogy remaster when?”

Personally, I’m a sucker for a nice bomber jacket and the materials do look nice, but the track suit looks far below what the price range is at, which makes the sudden reveal a little odd as a fan above previously mentioned. As far as a remaster goes, numerous reports have been circulating that an announcement is on the horizon for bringing the full trilogy into this-gen with all DLC and updates to the experience.

Given Andromeda’s incredibly rocky launch and subsequent fall and BioWare’s insistence that that misstep didn’t mark the end of the franchise for future launches, giving the thousands of fans what they want with a remaster wouldn’t be a bad idea. The Wii-U port only allowed for Mass Effect 3, and many missed out on the incredible DLC that gave us the Citadel party, meeting the creators of the Reapers, and so much more. A remaster would be the perfect way to deliver the full experience for those that want to replay as well as those that want to experience Shepard’s journey for the first time.

In the meantime, have a fancy flight jacket to rep that Mass Effect love.
