The biggest football game of the year has always been Madden NFL. With the upcoming release of Madden NFL 18 fans of the game have been wondering when the game will finally hit store shelves this year. This article covers the release date of Madden NFL 18 for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as when Madden NFL 18 will be available for EA Access. Read on to find out when you can finally pick up Madden NFL 18 on the release date.

If you own an Xbox One and pay $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year for EA Access, you can check out Madden NFL 18 on August 17, 2017. With EA Access players can enjoy up to 10 hours of play time in Madden NFL 18 and other Electronic Arts releases on the Xbox One. EA Access members also enjoy a 10 percent discount when they purchase the full game.

For Madden fans who do not have an Xbox One and EA Access, the official release date for Madden NFL 18 is August 25, 2017. The game will release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but there will not be a PC release for Madden NFL 18. However, if you pre-order the G.O.A.T. Edition of Madden NFL 18, you can pick up the game a few days early on August 22, 2017.
