Grand Theft Auto V ‘Leisure’ Shots Show Parachuting, Tennis & Dirt Bikes
There's more than one type of racket in this game
Rockstar has gone and done another sceenshot reveal, and this time the set’s named “Leisure”.
The three grabs show off a selection of rather fun-looking activities, could this indicate a move away from the relatively serious exploits of GTAIV? We certainly hope so as the last title seemed to lack the dedication to humor and fun we’re so used to seeing in the much-beloved franchise.
The first shot shows off a couple of people on (Sanchez?) dirt bikes heading up a mountain path (Mt. Chiliad?). GTA’s classically accessible bike physics along with the super-fun rural scenery of the Los Santos outskirts should be a barrel of laughs.
The second shot features a couple of people having a game in a tennis court in the grounds of a well-kept villa most likely in Rodeo, San Andreas’s Beverly Hills dead-ringer. It reeks of high-class crime reward. Lovely. Let’s hope the tennis is playable.
The third shot shows a character parachuting through a valley. There’s evidently been effort into carving out the picturesque landscapes (automated or otherwise). Much like the second shot the sights are again reminiscent of San Andreas (as intended).
I’ve tried zooming in to the man with the parachute but it’s hard to amass much from the back but the hair cut, build and skin tone certainly look different to the suited character seen in this week’s jet screenshot and the premiere trailer. Maybe we’ll be seeing some heavy customization options. There are rumors of several playable characters but it’s all speculation at this point and, as usual, Rockstar is keeping very quiet.
