Grand Theft Auto V Gets Official Cover Art

And it definitely smacks of nostalgic flavor…

Rockstar Games, after spending several days hinting at it, today revealed the official cover art for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.  If you’re a fan of previous games, you’ll notice something quite familiar about it.

The GTA V cover art utilizes the same multi-window format of prior games, showing characters in various positions – with guns – and other bits and pieces from the game, including an attack dog, a beautiful blonde (who will probably be a character somewhere within it), a ride on a jet ski and a helicopter firing missiles.  We’ve included the official cover art below for you to take a look at.

Rockstar is also prepping a painted mural in Manhattan that also shows the cover art for all to see, so if you’re in the area, drop us a line when it goes up.

Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th.
