While a lot of focus has gone into the next-generation of games these past few weeks, Grand Theft Auto 5 still remains as relevant than ever. Today, Rockstar Games has announced that it will update the game this coming week with a new update, one that brings plenty of beach fun with it.
The Beach Bum update will arrive on November 19th, as part of the title update 1.06 being released with the system. In it, players can take on a “slew” of new jobs across GTA 5’s multiplayer, including Races, Survival, Parachutes, Deathmatches, Gang Attacks, Last Team Standing and Survival missions.
In addition, four new vehicles will also be available – the BF Bifta dune buggy, the Canis Kalahari off-roader, the Bravado Paradise camper van and the Speeder speedboat. They’ll be available at no charge. You can also use two new weapons – the broken bottle and the SNS pistol.
Finally, various new apparel customization options will be available, including some beach gear. So if you ever wanted to dress your character up in a tacky Hawaiian shirt, here’s your chance.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Be sure to check out our Free Guide for full coverage on the game.
