Where to find large contraband packages in Warzone 2 DMZ

Learn how to find large contraband packages and complete the Cartel Investigation mission in DMZ.

Warzone 2 DMZ Season 3 is here and the Cartel Investigation mission requires you to find and exfil two large contraband packages. This objective is different than contraband weapons and is only found in one area on Al Mazrah. We’re here to help you locate the cartel, extract the large contraband packages, and complete this challenging Warzone 2 DMZ mission.

Warzone 2 DMZ Cartel Investigation mission guide: Where to find the cartel and the large contraband packages

There are three parts to the Cartel Investigation mission: find the cartel, kill five cartel soldiers, and find and extract two large contraband packages. To find the large contraband packages, you need to find the cartel and eliminate five cartel soldiers.

Where to find the cartel in Warzone 2 DMZ

The cartel is located in Al Mazrah in Hafid Port. The cartel will likely only be at Hafid Port for the duration of Season 3. See the image below for more details.

Once you have entered Harif Port, you’ll notice the cartel soldiers immediately. They are less armored than the standard Al Mazrah AI which makes eliminating five of them, which is a requirement of the mission, fairly easy. Use the UAV in the area paired with the Comms Vest to stay one step ahead of the enemy.

Warzone 2 DMZ: Where to find large contraband packages

The good news and the bad news are that there isn’t a specific place to find large contraband packages in Hafid Port. Instead, you’ll need to check shelves and tables in the warehouses and buildings in the area. Look for medium-sized boxes with blue tape on the corners.

When you have two large contraband packages, your next move is to get to the nearest exfil site. Call in a chopper, wait, jump into the vehicle, and get out of there. If there aren’t any complications, you’ll successfully exfil and complete the Cartel Investigation mission. Well done!
