Rumor: Grand Theft Auto V This Year
The newest edition of Rockstar Games' huge Grand Theft Auto series may make it to all of us before the end of the year.
This year’s gaming barrage is already looking unstoppable, especially in the months of October and November when we’ll be hit with so much goodness, it’ll be ridiculous. A new rumor has surfaced that could possibly add even more awesomeness to the mix. Let’s just hope we have the funds to recuperate!
According to a report from Gamespot, Michael Pachter, a Wedbush Securities analyst who constantly speaks on video games, has reported that Rockstar Games is set to ship Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 23, 2012.
The game, which was first announced last year and features a whole new story and city to run through, has been highly anticipated for some time but recently took a back seat in promotion in favor of Rockstar pushing Max Payne 3, which ships May 15.
If Grand Theft Auto does meet an October 23 release date, it’ll be coming out between Bioshock Infinite, Assassin’s Creed III, Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Some fierce competition, to be sure, but a great time to be a gamer!
