Where to Find Garlic in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Cooking in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a rewarding experience that’ll help you make friends, finish quests and replenish your energy. To make food, though, you need ingredients! A popular item in many dishes is garlic, a bulb you can find in one particular region in the game. Whether you want to make every dish in the game or progress through a Star Path, you’ll want to get your hands on this popular ingredient ASAP. Where to Find Garlic in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlike many cooking ingredients in the game, you won’t have to purchase seeds or grow garlic yourself. However, you will have to travel to the Forest of Valor, the region connected to the Plaza and Dazzle Beach. You can either enter it directly from the Plaza using the northeastern ramp or travel south to Dazzle Beach and use the entrance there. However, unlocking the Forest of Valor requires 3,000 Dreamlight, so you’ll have to complete enough Dreamlight Duties to get there!

Once you enter the Forest, search the area for wild plants. Garlic isn’t a crop you can plant and harvest like most ingredients in the game. Instead, you have to search for wild herb plants to forage. They’ll appear as a bright green, leafy stalk in the ground you can interact with. Each plant gives one garlic.

Garlic is primarily used as a cooking ingredient. You can use it in recipes requiring garlic or ones that call for “Any Herb”. Below are some examples of dishes that use garlic:

• Creamy Garlic Scallops: Scallops, Lemon, Garlic, Butter
• Lemon Garlic Swordfish: Lemon, Garlic, Swordfish
• Arendellian Pickled Herring: Herring, Lemon, Onion, Garlic, Any Spice

You may also occasionally encounter tasks in the game’s active Star Path, asking you to pick, eat or use garlic in cooking recipes. It’s worth keeping some in your storage just in case!
