How to Remove Wildebeest Bones in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before we get too deep into this topic, make sure you’ve progressed far enough into the prerequisite quest before tackling this challenge. The quest where you first unlock this capability is Scar’s Breaking Bones friendship quest, which you unlock once you reach friendship level two with him. You’ll also have to craft the tool head required to upgrade your Royal Shovel. If you’re moving along with the quest, though, you’ll reach this point by the time you’re asked to remove Wildebeest bones.

Where to Remove Wildebeest Bones
Head straight to Sunlit Plateau once you’re at a point in the quest where you must remove small Wildebeest bones. You’ll find animal bones of various shapes and sizes as you search around. However, you’ll want to avoid ones that look like the large ones blocking the bridge to the Sunlit Plateau’s western half. Instead, there are two types that you’re looking for:
- Vertical bones and a half-buried animal skull jutting out of a grass mound. These bones are slightly smaller than your character model. You’ll also only find around one to three bones in each pile.
- Vertical bones that are sticking out of grass mounds. These versions are similar to the one above, except they don’t have any skulls attached.
How to Remove Wildebeest Bones
Once you’ve found some Wildebeest bones to break, take out your shovel and start digging at them, much like you would a dirt mound. The bones will break, dropping some clay for you to collect. As you progress further in Scar’s quest line, you’ll be able to break larger bones for more clay. Until then, you’ll have to stick to these smaller Wildebeest bone piles.
