Call of Duty Warzone Royal Ruckus Event Kicks This Week With 100,000 Charity Pool

Gamers doing good is nothing new, we’re a force to be reckoned with when the call comes, and the London Royal Ravens pro Call of Duty team is no different. That’s where the new Call of Duty: Warzone Royal Ruckus comes in, a charity tournament with $100,000 on the line in an effort to support the Equal Justice Initiative. With everything going on lately, many voices across the gaming community are speaking up about injustices all over the world, but especially in America. That’s why this particular charity event is special, and it’s something gamers all over the world can take part in.

The Warzone Royal Ruckus is a two-day event sponsored by HyperX and D-Cave alongside Activision Blizzard that will feature high competition within the world of battle royale. Paired with a plethora of talent joining in on the fun, including top pro athletes, musicians, and beloved content creators, Royal Ruckus is ready to shake up the gaming scene even more in the name of justice for all. 

So who will be joining in on this fun? Let’s have a look at a few of the names joining the fray of the 150 total taking part: 

  • Rudy Gobert – Two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year
  • Steve Aoki – Music legend and member of Rogue ownership team
  • Jofra Archer – Pro international cricketer for England 
  • Taylor Fritz – Avid gamer and first tennis pro to invest in esports
  • Landon Collins –  Washington Redskins strong safety and ReKTGlobal investor
  • Nicky Romero – International DJ and producer

As for pros on the scene: 

  • Wuskin –  London Royal Ravens
  • Skrapz – London Royal Ravens
  • Tfue – Top streamer and Fortnite player
  • SypherPK – Pro Fortnite player and top streamer
  • Huskers – Warzone Solos World Record setter
  • DaisyMichelle – Top YouTube content creator
  • Tommey – Team Envy
  • Nickmercs – Former MLG National Champion 

It’s going to be big and it all starts on June 11 at 10 AM PT and will end on June 12. The last team standing will win the ultimate prize pool to support the Equal Justice Initiative, a cause that seeks to end the mass incarceration and undue punishment within the United States legal system. This cause is also dedicated to the current Black Lives Matter movement, challenging Americans to look at the current state of our system and the root of current injustices seen by the entire world. It’s about human rights, it’s about humanity, and it’s a phenomenal cause that these Warzone players will be fighting for. 

The winning team will also be awarded a cash prize of $30,000 in addition to the 100K being donated to the Equal Justice Initiative. 

The Call of Duty: Warzone Royal Ruckas event takes place on June 11 – June 12 at 10 AM PT, are you ready?
