ReKTGlobal continues to grow at an impressive rate, this time adding NFC defensive player Landon Collins to their ranks. The Washington Redskins Safety is the latest member to join the ReKTGlobal group alongside other esteemed executives and musicians lending their vision to the brand.

“Landon is a passionate gamer who can go head to head against esports pros and beat them.”, beamed Amish Shah, Founder and Chairman of ReKTGlobal. “A legend on and off the field, Collins is a great fit to add to our all-star list of investors. We are thrilled to welcome him to our organization and growing family.”

Collins himself is a 2015 second-round draft pick ad a first-team All-Pro. He has a strong career to his name with the Washington Redskins, with an equally passionate love for video games. The Redskins player was one of eight public figures to receive the Call of Duty Adidas press kits, making him a perfect fit with ReKT's recent Call of Duty esports team reveal in London.

As the newest investor added to the team, ReKT tells us that he will be lending his expertise to the global brand in the name of expansion and continued growth.

“Esports is one of the most lucrative industries right now and its future is bright,” commented Collins. “As a professional athlete and a passionate gamer, I understand and appreciate what ReKTGlobal is doing to further connect the worlds of traditional sports and esports. I love the competition and the competitive nature of the gaming industry and I’m excited to enter a new realm of competition through my investment with ReKTGlobal and Rogue.”

ReKTGlobal was first founded in 2016 and since its birth has gone on to make incredible leaps and bounds when it comes to bridging the gap between traditional sports and the burgeoning esports. They've worked in collaboration with some of the biggest names in gaming including Xbox, Activision, Epic Games, and so much more.

ReKT is also the parent company to Rogue, a name that is well-known in esports with their presence in League of Legends, Fortnite, and FIFA.

Where ReKT will go from here is anyone's guess, but the company has certainly proven it knows what it takes to succeed, thrive, and wow the world of competitive epsorts.
