Valorant Characters List – What We Know So Far

The tactical FPS of Valorant will feature a roster of characters for players to use in battle.

Valorant is the character-based tactical first-person shooter from Riot Games that is prepared to shake up the world of competitive gaming. Commonly seen as a mix between Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch, Valorant will allow players to utilize a cast of different characters with unique abilities to help lead their team to victory. Fortunately, we have gathered together all of the currently known information about these characters for you.

Valorant Characters

Riot Games has not divulged a large amount of information regarding the individuals that will make up the roster for Valorant. However, competitive gaming insider Rod Breslau, who has accurately reported early on a wide variety of aspects for the FPS title, recently gave the community an early look at these playable individuals. 

According to Breslau, sources have told him that the game will start with eight playable individuals. One of these characters will be locked, and each of them will have a set of unique abilities they can use in a match. You can find each of these reported characters below:

  • Sage (China)
  • Cypher (Morocco)
  • Brimstone (United States)
  • Jett (Korea)
  • Viper (United States)
  • Phoenix (United Kingdom)
  • Sova (Russia)
  • Omen (Unknown)

Each of these individuals will also reportedly be from various countries across the world. We will update this piece with any new information regarding the playable individuals of Riot’s FPS game when any is made available to the public.
