How to Get Upgrade Modules in Destiny 2

So, you’re wanting to get your mitts on some Upgrade Modules in Destiny 2, huh? These are a relatively recent innovation in the sense that they were thrown into the neverending pool of Things To Grind For when Shadowkeep finally dropped. What they do is they’re a bit like a shortcut to pushing the power level on some weapons that you’ve got, and they’re not all that difficult to actually get so long as you’re fairly diligent. There are a few ways to pick up Upgrade Modules, and we’re going to cover them off for you so that there’s no ambiguity to be had in search of this particular resource.

If you’re wanting to get Upgrade Modules in Destiny 2, you can do so via the following ways:

  • Ranking up in Season Pass – this will get you Upgrade Modules as you hit certain thresholds with your Season Pass
  • Finishing Banshee-44 bounties – we would recommend cracking into the weekly bounties here and you’ll be able to walk away with EXP as well as Upgrade Modules where indicated
  • Buying Upgrade Modules from Banshee-44 – this is another way that you can pick them up, in the sense that Banshee-44 will be happy to exchange Modules for a whole bunch of materials from you which you might find too steep a price to pay. Last we checked, these materials were as follows: 1 x Enchantment Core, 10 x Legendary Shards, and 5,000 Glimmer.

Now that you have our guide on how to get Upgrade Modules in Destiny 2 on hand, it should be fairly easy for you to pick some up yourself and to make sure that you’re inching your weapons forward into an age of being prepared for the next Season. Just be patient in these last few days and you should have no issues. Need help with anything else, Guardians?
