All heroes have access to special abilities and skills they can’t use outside of this special mode, so even if your main is available to play here, you still have some learning to do. If you’re interested in using Frank Castle to defend the city, here’s everything you need to know to make the best Marvel Zombies The Punisher build in Marvel Rivals.

Best Marvel Rivals Zombies The Punisher Build

The best build for The Punisher is one that’s focused on enhancing his assault rifle damage and effectiveness while also generally building out his overall damage output. Compared to the other characters in this mode, The Punisher is by far the easiest one to build, as you’re simply focusing on damage output and speed with him. If you’re not used to playing any of the characters you can choose from here, The Punisher is the easiest one to pick up, and he’s also one of the best characters in Marvel Zombies when built right.

Best Abilities for The Punisher in Marvel Rivals Zombies

For The Punisher’s abilities, choose all of the ones marked with a green icon. You’re looking to unlock some special utility moves and helpful buffs for him with the options you choose here. The overall best abilities to select for him are Relentless Pursuit, Snare Beacon, and Piercing Barrage.

  • Relentless Pursuit – Allows The Punisher to place his turret down anywhere on the battlefield, which means he can move around separately from it. This is by far one of the best parts of his skillset, as you essentially get double the damage output from it.
  • Snare Beacon – His zipline continuously attracts enemies, grouping them up so you and your teammates can effectively unleash massive damage against all of them at once. All enemies who touch the zipline are pulled to the endpoint.
  • Piercing Barrage – The Punisher’s bullets pierce through enemies, granting him damage reduction and Lifesteal. He’s generally most effective outside of his ultimate, but using it is a great way to quickly gain loads of health thanks to the powerful Lifesteal effect.

Best Traits to Upgrade for The Punisher in Marvel Rivals Zombies

The best Traits for The Punisher are those along the red path, which align with his Adjudication weapon, also known as his assault rifle. Spend all of your points solely on this path. The other Trait path focuses on his shotgun, which isn’t all that useful in this mode. You want the rapid-fire, heavy damage output from his assault rifle instead.

Best Khonshu’s Blessings for The Punisher in Marvel Rivals Zombies

The best Blessings for The Punisher include both the red ones, which are focused on his assault rifle, and the purple ones, which are more general Blessings that can be applied to all heroes. Avoid the blue Blessings that pop up entirely, as you don’t want to upgrade or use his shotgun in combat in this mode.

  • Precision Judgment (red)
  • Punisher’s Upgrade (red)
  • Deadly Lock-On (red)
  • Rapid Reload (red)
  • Overwhelming Assault (red)
  • Vampiric Vitality (purple)
  • Full Moon (purple)
  • Vitality Boost (purple)
  • Power Surge (purple)
  • Moonlight Protection (purple)

With The Punisher now ready for battle, you can jump in and start tackling those tricky boss fights, including both Zombie Namor and Zombie Scarlet Witch. If you end up deciding The Punisher’s playstyle isn’t for you or just want a break from the shooting, you also might consider reviewing the best Blade buildbest Jeff build, best Thor build, and best Magik build.
