The Feybreak Major Content Update in Palworld introduced a brand-new island to explore, along with 24 new Pals for players to hunt down. While some of these Pals are alternate variants of existing ones, the majority are entirely new additions. Azurmane

What sets Bastigor apart is its unique weapon—a powerful ice-forged hammer. When you mount Bastigor, it can deal significant damage with this hammer, adding a distinct edge to battles. One way to obtain Fenglope Lux is by capturing it directly, but if that sounds too challenging, you can breed a Fenglope with an Azurmane to increase your chances of obtaining this pal.

Fenglope Lux, while not as powerful as top-tier Electric pals like Azurmane or Univolt, is still a solid option, especially for secondary bases where high-tier pals may not be necessary. After unlocking it at Technology Level 52, you can craft the Fenglope Lux Saddle. This pal also comes with a unique feature: the ability to double-jump, adding mobility options for exploration or light combat.

Foxparks Cryst

Foxparks Cryst is the ice-type variant of the original fire-type pal, Foxparks. While the original Foxparks was an excellent early-game choice for kindling and powering the primitive furnace, Foxparks Cryst is better suited for cooling tasks, particularly at secondary bases.

To obtain Foxparks Cryst, you can capture it in the wild, or if you already have a Foxparks and a Foxcicle, you can breed them to produce one. Once you have it, craft the Foxparks Cryst Harness at Technology Level 24. When equipped, this pal enables the player to attack with frigid air, making it a valuable addition to your team.

Gildane

Kitsun Noct is a Dark-type pal that enhances the player’s attacks with Dark elemental damage when mounted. The easiest way to obtain this pal is by capturing it, but if capturing proves too difficult, you can breed a Kitsun with a Nyafia for a strong chance of getting a Kitsun Noct.

At its maximum level, Kitsun Noct provides a 20% Dark elemental damage buff, making it an ideal companion for alpha boss fights, especially when the enemy is weak to Dark elements. Consider bringing this pal into battles where its unique abilities can truly shine.

Loupmoon Cryst

Loupmoon Cryst is the ice-type variant of Loupmoon. While you can capture one roaming in packs on Feybreak Island, breeding is often the easier method. Simply breed a Loupmoon with a Sweepa, and you’ll likely obtain a Loupmoon Cryst.

Although Loupmoon Cryst is not particularly combat-focused, it is excellent for cooling tasks at your base. However, it does feature a unique partner skill: when activated, it can target enemies with a powerful Snow Claw attack, adding some offensive utility if needed.

Nitemary

Pal Souls are a crucial resource for upgrading pals, and no pal is better for farming them than Nitemary. With its Partner Skill, Soul Collector, Nitemary increases the chance of hostile pals dropping Pal Souls when defeated, making it an indispensable companion for resource farming.

Beyond farming, Nitemary can also be assigned to Handiwork and Transporting tasks at your base. While there are other pals better suited for these jobs, Nitemary can still contribute effectively, especially as your base operations expand.

Nyafia

Nyafia is a versatile pal with the ability to equip weapons. Specifically, she can wield a shotgun to attack nearby enemies for a limited duration. To unlock this feature, you’ll need to craft Nyafia’s Shotgun from the Technology Tree at Level 53.

Outside of combat, Nyafia shines in multiple base roles. She is particularly effective in Gathering, Lumbering, and Transporting tasks, but her greatest strength lies in Handiwork. If you’re crafting high-tier Spheres or ammunition on your Assembly Line structures, assigning Nyafia to these tasks is an excellent choice.

Omascul is a Dark-type pal with a unique Partner Skill that boosts experience gain for other pals in your party. This is especially useful if you’ve captured new pals and want to level them up quickly. Having Omascul on your team accelerates their progression significantly.

While Omascul’s utility outside combat is limited, it can handle basic Gathering tasks at your base. However, these tasks can just as easily be performed by a lower-tier Gathering pal. Defeating Omascul pals in the wild yields Dark Fragments, a valuable resource introduced in the Feybreak update.

Prunelia

You can obtain Ribbuny Botan by capturing it in the wild or by breeding a Ribbuny with a Bristla. If you’ve been playing Palworld for a while, you might already have both breeding pals at your base.

Occasionally, defeating a Silvegis will yield a Huge Dragon Egg. Once you have one, place it in the Egg Incubator structure at your base, and there’s a high chance it will hatch into a Silvegis pal.

In combat, Smokie shines even more. Fighting alongside this pal greatly increases the amount of Chromite you collect, making it an indispensable companion for farming this resource in the game. If you need Chromite in large quantities, Smokie should be your go-to pal in the party.

The use of a Meat Cleaver to gather items is a rare sight but you can turn this into an advantageous situation if you have Splatterina in your party. This dark-type pal increases the drop rate of items obtained through the Meat Cleaver.

At Level 5 Partner Skill, the drop chance is boosted by up to 15%. Beyond its utility, Splatterina is a force to be reckoned with in combat, thanks to its menacing appearance and ferocious attacks.

Exploring Palworld at night can be a challenge due to reduced visibility, but Starryon makes nighttime traversal much easier. This dark-type pal increases movement speed significantly after you unlock the Starryon Saddle at Technology Level 57.

While Starryon is excellent for nighttime exploration, its utility outside this domain is limited. It can handle basic Gathering tasks at the base, but there’s not much else it excels at. Whether it’s worth the effort to capture Starryon depends on how much you value its specific benefits.

Tarantriss

This dark-type pal excels in ground-based combat, especially against enemies or alpha bosses weak to Dark elemental attacks. Beyond the battlefield, Tarantriss can handle various base tasks, including Handiwork, Gathering, Medicine Production, and Transporting.

Warsect Terra

Alternatively, you can breed a Warsect with a Digtoise to produce Warsect Terra. This pal truly shines in combat, where its Partner Skill increases your defense and reduces fire damage when fighting together. While it can handle base tasks, Warsect Terra is best utilized on the battlefield.

Xenolord

Xenolord is one of the fastest flying mounts in Palworld. While it isn’t quite as fast as Jetragon, its assault capabilities are unparalleled among flying mounts. To unlock its potential, you’ll need to craft the Xenolord Saddle, an endgame item available at Technology Level 60.

Xenolord is a raid boss and cannot be captured. The only way to obtain one is to defeat the raid boss and hope for the rare Huge Dark Egg drop. If you’re lucky enough to get one, place it in the Egg Incubator, and it will hatch into a Xenolord.
