The Best Build for Seth in Zenless Zone Zero

Seth is an electric character who provides shields for his team members and occasionally dazes enemies with his abilities. Out of every other character in Zenless Zone Zero, Seth’s defensive skills are vital to most meta-current builds out there.

Simply having shields to mitigate explosive damage whenever possible means players can survive difficult fights much longer without struggling so hard. Seth eliminates most of the difficulty that comes with late-game battles, which makes him a valuable character to have. If you’ve been fortunate enough to have pulled him recently, here’s the best build for him in Zenless Zone Zero.

Best W-Engine for Seth

For Seth’s W-Engine, you’ll want something that can either amplify your shielding power or make your character more tanky in fights. Here are the best W-Engine’s you can use for Seth in Zenless Zone Zero.

  1. Peacekeeper – Specialized (Best) – Peacekeeper is Seth’s best W-Engine of choice as it amplifies energy regeneration and anomaly buildup, which are both crucial buffs needed as a support.
  2. Spring Embrace – As for Spring Embrace, this W-Engine reduces damage received and provides an energy generation rate buff, which transfers to another character when switching characters.
  3. Bunny Band – Bunny Band essentially increases Seth’s maximum HP and additionally buffs his attack damage when shielded.
  4. Big Cylinder – Big Cylinder reduces damage received. When hit by an enemy, this W-Engine provides a critical hit buff with an additional damage buff based on Seth’s defense. This critical damage hit occurs once every few seconds.
  5. Original Transmorpher – Like Big Cylinder, Original Transmorpher also provides a buff when hit by an enemy. In this case, Original Transmorpher amplifies impact stats to boost Seth’s daze multiplier damage when hit by an enemy. The W-Engine also offers increased HP stats.

Best Drive Discs for Seth

Since Seth relies on his abilities to shield teammates from incoming enemies, the Drive Disc known as Swing Jazz will always be the best option. Swing Jazz amplifies Seth’s energy regeneration and increases the entire team’s attack damage by 15% for 12 seconds when casting a chain attack or ultimate ability.

In this case, you can pick between equipping 4pc Swing Jazz plus 2pc Freedom Blues for additional anomaly proficiency or 4pc Swing Jazz and 2pc Hormone Punk to increase Seth’s attack damage. Each option provides a lot of benefits, but it’s mostly up to your preference on what you need more for your team. You can even choose 4pc Swing Jazz and 2pc Shockstar Disco to increase Seth’s daze-based ability damage if you’d like the character to deal more damage.
