How to Get the MP Collector Module in The First Descendant

Unlimited MP? Sign me up.

The First Descendant has some Descendants that use MP to unprecedented levels. If you have ever thought of having unlimited MP for those Descendants, it could be possible with the perfect Module combination. One staple for heavy MP users is the MP Collector Module, which gives them MP every time they eliminate an enemy. It heavily boosts your MP generation as long as you are eliminating enemies. Here’s how to get the MP Collector Module in The First Descendant.

Where to Get the MP Collector Module in The First Descendant

There is a huge list of ways to get the MP Collector Module, but most are from “mission monsters” for specific missions in regions like White-night Gulch and Vespers. In fact, they practically drop from almost any enemy you eliminate from these regions as long as you finish missions. However, the drop rate is abysmal, and you can’t even see how frequently they drop.

However, there is a mission where it drops as a bonus reward from the mission and not the mission monsters you eliminate. You want to look for the Border Line of Truth mission in the White-night Gulch. It is a barrier deactivation mission, which is technically an elimination mission within an objective.

It’ll take a few minutes to finish, and the monsters are quite hard to eliminate if you aren’t geared enough. The strategy is to always run around in circles while eliminating monsters, and you want to wait for the commander to show up and blast them as fast as you can.

The Border Line of Truth mission only has a 3.5% chance to drop the MP Collector module in normal mode, but it jumps up to 5% in hard mode. It is much easier to finish in normal mode, but it’ll take a long time. Once you unlock hard mode, you can get some level 100 gear and blast through all the missions immediately. I suggest going for hard mode before collecting modules.

Is the MP Collector Module Good?

MP Collector Ultimate Support Tech Module – Upon defeating an enemy, you have a 4% chance to recover 12.2% of your max MP. Upgrading the module will increase both percentage values.

The MP Collector Module is great for Descendants with heavy MP usage. But it is mostly good for Bunny because she is the only one with a skill, the Speed of Light, that heavily drains her MP. Combining this MP Collector Module with Skill Cost reductions and more MP generation stats allows you to use the Speed of Light indefinitely.

The module could also be decent for Blair. If you stack enough Skill Cooldown reductions, Blair’s MP usage will also be off the charts if you keep spamming his Blaze Up skill.

The MP Collector Module’s usage is niche but is a staple for certain builds. Most Descendants will go for the HP Collector Module as their Support Tech Module because it is more versatile.
