To fix The First Descendant 0xE3010502 error, you need to uninstall the NGService file from the main installation folder and reinstall it. Apart from that, you also need to verify the game files on Steam.

The developers are aware of this issue, and the specific error code requires reinstallation of the NGService. Here is how you can do that.

Reinstall NGService

  • Open Steam, and right-click on The First Descendant
  • Select Manage, followed by Browse local files
  • Navigate to the following location

The First Descendant\M1\Binaries\Win64\BlackCipher

  • In the BlackCipher folder, open the NGService_Uninstall.bat file to remove the NGService.
  • After that’s done, open the NGService_Install.bat to reinstall the service.

After you’re done, you need to verify the game files as well.

Verify Game Files on Steam

To ensure your game files are in order, you need to let Steam scan through the files and download anything broken or missing.

  • Open Steam, and navigate to your library
