Murdered: Soul Suspect Intrigues Players with New Trailer

Square Enix's new game appears to be a good mystery.

When Square Enix hits the show floor at E3 next week, it’ll have several big properties in tow, including Murdered: Soul Suspect.  Today, the company released a new trailer for this mysterious adventure, setting the stage for a very cool story.

Murdered casts you as Ronan O’Connor, a detective who loves to talk about his exploits.  He explains how he’s been in a lot of fights over the years, but never lost one – until the fateful night that a mysterious killer does him in.  Ronan turns spectral, with the ability to read people’s minds simply by touching them in ghost form, and he slowly but surely tries to solve his own murder.

The game is set for release early next year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and looks quite sharp at this point. You can watch the trailer here
