Where to Find Small Settlement in Palworld

The Small Settlement is located northwest of the Plateau of Beginning at coordinates (71, -486). Start at the Plateau of Beginnings before traveling through Grassy Behemoth Hills, and continue west once you reach the area south of the Rayne Syndicate Tower to access an Autumn-like region leading to the small town.

As shown in the picture above, you’ll want to go past Grassy Behemoth Hills before stopping at the large dirt circle south of Rayne Syndicate Tower. From here, travel southwest to find a small stone path leading to the Small Settlement.

Once you arrive at the town, you’ll find low-level Syndicate Thugs loitering around and attacking anyone they see, alongside numerous friendly NPCs. While most are there to fill in space, there are two in particular to note: the Wandering Merchant and the Pal Merchant.

How to Sell Pals and Items in Palworld

The Wandering and Pal merchants are two NPCs you can interact with to buy and sell items. They exchange items and pals for gold coins, allowing you to buy products and sell items to make money.

The Wandering Merchant sells various goods in exchange for gold coins, from medicine to seeds and food. You’ll also find schematics for your Pals. Likewise, you can sell items to them to make some extra gold, letting you stock up on cash to use for your purchases or stockpile for later.

Tip:

The Wandering Merchant is a great source of milk and eggs. They’re important ingredients for making cakes for breeding Pals in the Mixed Farm. For the other cake ingredients, like wheat, berries, and honey, you can build farms in your base. At a Ranch you can assign a Beegarde to passively drop honey for you.

The Pal Merchant buys and sells Pals, with their stock changing over time. You’ll find a randomized list of five Pals, who typically cost a few thousand gold coins each. Similarly, you can sell your Pals to make some quick money.

What Other Settlements are in Palworld?

Small settlement isn’t the only settlement in Palworld. There are plenty of others you’ll find across the map. We have a full list of them down below:

  • Duneshelter (Black Marketeer, additional merchants).
  • Fisherman’s Point (Pal merchant, Huge Dragon Egg).
  • Ruined Fortress City (Huge Dragon Egg).
  • Abandoned City.
  • Small Settlement.

What Can You Use the Dragon Egg in Fisherman’s Point For?

You can use the Dragon Egg in Fisherman’s Point to hatch rare, high-level creatures. Be warned: you must keep the egg in an incubator for about two hours before it will hatch. Also, these eggs tend to be in dangerous areas of the world. Here’s a complete list of every Pal you can get from the Huge Dragon egg.
