How to Get DLSS Working in Palworld

First things first, make sure that you have a Nvidia RTX graphics card in your system. It doesn’t matter if it’s 20 series, 30 series, or 40 series, as long as it has Nvidia RTX in the name. Provided you have that and it still isn’t working, then it’s likely you need to update your graphics drivers. The newest Nvidia driver, released yesterday as of writing, helped add support to Palworld and enabled the ability for it to use the DLSS function.

If you don’t know how to update your graphics drivers, there are two ways to do so.

1) Update with GeForce Experience

The first is through the GeForce Experience app, which you likely have installed if you have drivers installed at all. Search this on your PC, then log in to the app if it prompts you. Once you’re in, select the Drivers button from the top where you should see a new driver available. Click Download, then select either Express or Custom Installation when prompted. It doesn’t matter much which you pick, but Express will be easier.

2) Download the Drivers Manually

The other method is to download the drivers manually. This can be done from Nvidia’s official Drivers site. Simply select your graphics card from the drop-down (the model can likely be found in your computer’s Task Manager under Performance) and click Search. From there, click Download on the newest driver and download it through the file that it installs.
