Lethal Company: What Does Eclipsed Mean?

Take our advice here, it's not worth it.

What Does Eclipsed Mean In Lethal Company?

If you’re landing on a Moon that has the status of “Eclipsed” next to it, be prepared for the hardest trail of your life. Since the lighting is fully eclipsed on this particular map, monsters are going to be out in droves, and there’s a very good chance you’re not going to escape alive. If you’ve played on a standard map in the past, you’ll know that Monsters begin to roam around much more often during the nighttime, and an Eclipsed Moon will be dark at all times.

Let’s just say, if you have the chance to avoid an Eclipsed Moon, do it. Even if it’s the easiest map in the game, just avoid it at all costs, unless you have a death wish or something to try and prove. You’ll find that these maps are tremendously more difficult than they need to be, and you’ll more than likely escape by either the seat of your pants, or you won’t escape at all. That is, if you don’t die while trying to make one of the risky jumps inside the facilities that you’ll be exploring.

Not only will the Monsters be more active on the outside of these facilities, but they’ll also be much more active inside. So, you’ve got double the trouble for no extra reward. If you’ve made this mistake, you can always try again another day, or keep one of your crew on the ship just in case things go south quickly so you don’t lose anything you’ve grabbed.

Now that you know to hopefully avoid the Eclipsed planets, be sure to check out our other Lethal Company guides to help you stay alive on your next expedition in the section below. We’ll help you get your hands on the Zap Gun and let you in on some secrets to avoid the terrifying Bunker Spiders.
