Does it ever get easier?

The age-old debate of FromSoftware difficulty is back with Armored Core 6. Well, we have the answer for you below.

Are There Difficulty Options in AC6?

No, you can not change the difficulty in Armored Core 6. There are no additional options or ways to make the game more or less challenging. This should come as no surprise as FromSoftware titles always have a set difficulty that never changes.

While Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon does not have difficulty options, what it does have is flexibility. The ability to use checkpoints to swap out your loadout and mech styles to something that might be a bit more useful in the current scenario you find yourself in.

There’s no penalty for switching loadouts on the fly, and it can help change a fight’s dynamic. If you find yourself struggling against a boss fight, you can swap out your weapons and other parts every time you die and try again.

So, while it won’t be easier in the traditional sense of difficulty options, Armored Core 6 is malleable in a way other From Software titles rarely are. Don’t be afraid to swap around all of your weapons to see what suits a fight the best.
