Where to Find the Blade of Oppressed Souls in Baldur’s Gate 3

You’ll find the Blade of Oppressed Souls after completing the Necrotic Laboratory puzzle. After connecting each colored node to its end spot, you’ll open the door to a small area with the sword in the center of a pile of skulls. Pick it up alongside the Waking Mind from this spot, and loot the nearby skeleton for additional rewards.

When you enter the Necrotic Laboratory and interact with the green console, you’ll see four colored nodes and multiple grey ones. You’ll have to connect the two sides by selecting each colored part, clicking the grey nodes, and creating a path to the end. You also have to make sure they don’t overlap.

Blade of Oppressed Souls Stats

The Blade of Oppressed Souls is a rare longsword with the following damage stats:

  • At least 2-14 Damage
  • 1d10 (1d8) Slashing
  • +1d4 Psychic
  • Weapon Enchantment +1

If your character is proficient with the sword, you’ll also gain four additional melee attack options. Make sure to equip it to someone who has longsword proficiency so you can get the most out of its bonuses!
