How to Farm Silver Leaves, Silver Ash and Kindling in Destiny 2

The Solstice 2023 event has started burning in Destiny 2, and to take advantage of the armor stat rolls in the event, you will need to farm plenty of Silver Leaves and Silver Ash. On top of all that sunlit silver, Kindling is just as important in the armor process, and I’m here to outline how you can farm for all these materials before it sunsets. Here’s how to farm for Silver Leaves, Silver Ash, and Kingling in Destiny 2.

How to Farm Silver Leaves in Destiny 2

Silver Leaves are earned by completing activities such as Strikes or matches in the Crucible while wearing a one piece of Sunlit Armor. Of course, you can wear more, but you need at least one piece equipped for activities to drop the leaves during Solstice 2023. Just like most events in Destiny 2, nearly any activity will drop Silver Leaves like currency.

Some are more profitable than others. Activities such as Gambit or Public Events aren’t always worth the effort. I recommend just grinding out Strikes and Crucible matches so farming is easy and you get a steady stream of leaves that drop.

If you don’t have any Sunlit Armor, simply start the Solstice 2023 quest chain and you will be given at least one piece. Once you have the armor and plenty of leaves, it’s time for the next step in the process.

How to Farm Silver Ash and Kindling in Destiny 2

Silver Ash is earned by taking your Silver Leaves into the Bonfire Bash event with at least one piece of Sunlit Gear equipped in Destiny 2. The Bonfire Bash takes place in the EAZ and the objective is simple. All you have to do is take down enemies in the designated area until you kindle the bonfire. As enemies continue to fall, the fire is stoked and your Silver Leaves are converted to Silver Ash.

Kindling will take more time to earn and is only collected by completing the Solstice 2023 challenges. This currency is then used to upgrade your gear quality before it can be changed. After you have enough Kindling used, it’s time to take advantage of all the Silver Ash you collected and reroll the stats on your armor until you like the results. Then rinse and repeat.
