Soul Stingers Hunt Location & Rewards in Final Fantasy 16 (FFXVI)

You’d expect his lordship Clive to not bother himself with menial tasks like bug-swatting. And yet, here we are, chasing down wicked hornets into a ruined and abandoned village. The Soul Stingers are a Rank-C mark and they’ll be level 32 when you encounter them.

To find the Soul Stingers, we’ll need to locate the Empty Hovel in Dhalmekia. Select The Dalimil Inn or The Jaw on the world map.

From here, we’ll need to leave the town through the South Gate, cut through the Sickle, and you’ll enter the Fields of Corava. It’s worth noting that the Soul Stingers aren’t in a hovel. They’re outside of it, close to the mountain wall on the very southeast side of the map.

The Soul Stingers are five wasp-like monsters that have low defenses and low health pools. They can’t even be staggered, as they don’t have a defense to break. This makes them one of the easiest Notorious Marks to bring down. What they do have is numbers. If you opt for a move that has a long windup time, expect to get bombarded. It’s better to go in for an all-out assault and take care of them quickly.

Upon defeating the Soul Stingers, you’ll receive the following rewards:

• Sharp Fang x 50 (common crafting material)
• Bloody Hide x 20 (common crafting material)
• Magicked Ash x 10 (common crafting material)
• 400 Experience
• 40 Ability Points
• 5,500 Gold
• 10 Renown
