However, while Star Wars Jedi: Survivor nails the story and the vibe of the franchise, there is one thing that it doesn’t quite hit: perfect performance. Jumping into a brand-new game is always a good time, but when you’re running into persistent framerate issues and dips, it can truly ruin the experience. If you’re hoping to get the best experience possible, make your way into the menu as there are a few settings that you’ll need to turn off before taking your first steps into this new and fascinating world, including:

  • Performance Mode: On
  • Field of View: Your Choice
  • HDR Output – Your Choice
  • Motion Blur – Off
  • Film Grain – Off
  • Chromatic Aberration – Off
  • Camera Shake – Your Choice
  • Under Extras: Turn off Usage Sharing

After you have saved these changes, fully exit the game and return once again to take control of Cal. You should see an improvement in your performance compared to other gamers and can start this adventure on the right foot. While we may see plenty of patches coming in the next few weeks to address the performance issues that Jedi: Survivor is currently suffering from, this will at least make the game playable rather than a chore.
