The Best Deals in Steam’s Black Friday Sale

Steam has finally joined every other storefront in taking part in Black Friday with a dedicated sale that includes hundreds of discounted games. There are some genuinely surprising offers here, and it has been a while since Steam has put up deals that feel competitive with key shops.
Here are my picks for some of the best discounts available during Steam’s Black Friday Sale on some of the standout titles on PC.

To make sure there is enough variety, I’ve selected games across genres and made sure that these are either at their historical low or are close to it.
Dead Space Remake – $9 (Historical low)

I’m usually hesitant to recommend remakes, but Motive Studio has done an incredible job reviving this modern horror classic with a fresh coat of paint, quality-of-life improvements, and some new content.
It’s just as scary as you remember, thanks to the stunning visuals, and the punchy combat remains fully intact.
If you’re fine with spending a bit extra, you can grab the deluxe edition for $10.5 instead.
The Surge 1 and 2 Dual Pack – $3.55 (Historical low)

The first Surge game wasn’t exactly the most polished Soulslike, but it was still a fun time with some neat ideas.
The sequel improved upon it in almost every way, and it’s a solid action RPG with tons of content. Both of these games are for just $3.55, which is a no-brainer if you’re even slightly curious!
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – $24 (Historical low)

One of last year’s best titles, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, is down to just $24 (and possibly lower in your region), coinciding with the release of its Reclamation update.
If you’re a Warhammer fan but were waiting for a decent discount, this is as low as it gets (for now).
Celeste – $5

Celeste has been discounted lower before, but at $5, you’re getting one of the best modern 2D platformers ever made. It also has an incredible, heartwarming story, some of the best music in the genre, and a highly memorable cast of characters.
If you’re up for a challenge, Celeste has additional levels to push you to your limits, and you can spend dozens of hours trying to get through everything.
Red Dead Redemption 2 – $15

What more can be said about Red Dead Redemption 2 at this point? It’s Rockstar at its finest, whether in its characters, writing, story, or the sheer freedom you experience exploring its vast and impeccably realized open world.
If it came out in 2025, it would still be the game to beat when it comes to pure immersion.
