Is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Playable on Steam Deck?
It’s already known that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, but we sadly need to bring you the bad news right off the bat.
When it comes to official support for Steam Deck — Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will not be officially available on Steam Deck.
You, of course, may be wondering why we emphasized the keyword “official” in the above sentence. This is because there’s bound to be some unofficial workaround for you to be able to play it on your Steam Deck (which we won’t go deeper into).
The people who have attempted to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor upon the release of the game didn’t have a good time, to say the least. Even top-notch Desktop PCs are having issues and the game has under 25% of positive reviews on Steam and it’s not been 12 hours after release yet!
However, please be advised that while the modding community has done miracles in the past, there is a big problem from the start which makes us believe that this will be a hard feat to accomplish, due to hardware limitations of the Steam Deck.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for a reason — the hardware is simply not strong enough to pull it off.
