How to Use Wiggenweld Potions in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Estus Flasks.

One of the first things we’re given on our adventure in Hogwarts Legacy is a set of Wiggenweld Potions to help us after we fall from the sky. In our Hogwarts Legacy guide, we’ll cover how to use Wiggenweld Potions whenever you need them.

Hogwarts Legacy: How to Use Wiggenweld Potions

Unlike all of the other potions in the game, Wiggenweld Potions have their own designated slot due to their importance. Anytime you pick up one of the healing potions, you can simply tap down on the d-pad with a controller to drink it. However, you’ll need to be missing some health for the potion to take any effect or even activate.

Another requirement to use Wiggenweld Potions is that you need to have some of the Wiggenweld Potions in your Hogwarts Legacy inventory. As soon as you pick any up, it will automatically go into the health potion slot for later use in combat. Whether you purchase, craft, or find the potions, they will automatically go into their own inventory space.

Note that you can get the talent Wiggenweld Potency to increase the effects of Wiggenweld potions. There are two talents for this: Wiggenweld Potency I and II.

Best Way to Get Wiggenweld Potions?

The best way to get Wiggenweld potions in Hogwarts Legacy is to buy them from the vendor J. Pippin. Keep in mind that it takes three days for a vendor to restock their wares. But there’s a neat trick you can use to refresh their wares quickly until you get what you need.

Right on the day a vendor’s stock is going to refresh, wait for exactly three days. Once that’s done, save your game right before speaking to the vendor. Check their wares, then reload if they don’t have what you’re looking for.

But if you don’t want to spend your hard-earned Galleons on Wiggenweld Potions, you can also craft them yourself once you get far enough into the game.

How to Make Wiggenweld Potions in Hogwarts Legacy

To make Wiggenweld Potions, you’ll need to brew them using the appropriate ingredients at a Potion Station. This requires progressing the story a little ways until you have access to Potions Class.

The ingredients required for the Wiggenweld Potion are

  • Dittany Leaves.
  • Horklump Juice.

You only need one of each ingredient, and it only takes 15 seconds to brew, so don’t worry about the time and get to brewing. Once you gain access to the Room of Requirement, you’ll be able to set up a whole slew of Potion Stations and Pots, which will allow you to start automating the process and quicken things. We recommend making as many Wiggenweld Potions as you can in Hogwarts Legacy so you’re always prepared and you save some money.
