The Scorching Predator Faleris is no easy bird to find. Here’s how to find and get Faleris in Palworld, and all the skills and stats you can expect to come along with it.
How to Get Faleris in Palworld – Exact Location, Skills, Stats
Faleris might be one of the hardest Pals to encounter in Palworld, though it’s very possible. You can encounter it in one place in the wild and, through careful breeding, you can create a Faleris of your very own without having to endure the hunt.
To try to catch Faleris in the wild, you’ll need to go to Nature Preserve No. 2, in the far top right corner of the map. Here, there’s a chance Faleris will appear during the day or night. But after grinding through this area, I only encountered one Faleris. Even Astegon had a higher rate of appearance.
One thing to note is that if the mercenaries on this island catch you, you’ll be tagged with a “trespassing” charge. They’ll then begin attacking you. And if you try to kill them, you’ll trigger a wave of mercenaries who will become progressively higher level, eventually capping at level 50. They’ll even follow you back to shore if you try to leave, so shaking them off can be hard.
That being said, using a mount and skirting around them to continue catching Pals is doable. Killing them all to eliminate witnesses is harder, as, at least on Xbox, they tend to get stuck in the ground or walls, making it impossible to kill them.
Another alternative is to breed a Faleris. But Faleris can only be bred through one partnership combination:
- Vanwyrm x Anubis
Anubis can be caught in its Alpha form in the small desert in the middle of the map, north of the Investigator’s Fork waypoint.
Or you can simply breed it using the following combinations:
- Celaray x Relaxaurus
- Bushi x Penking
- Kitsun x Jormuntide
Vanwyrm can be caught quickly anywhere on Mount Obsidian or near the Ravine Entrance waypoint.
Once you have a breeding pair, which must be of opposite genders, you’ll need a Breeding Farm. A Breeding Farm can be unlocked at level 19 in the Technology Menu and will let you pair two opposite-gender Pals together. Once the Breeding Farm is built, assign Anubis and Vanwyrm to it, then insert a Cake into the crate outside of the Breeding Farm. This will give them the energy they need to create an egg.
You’ll know you’ve succeeded at creating a Falaris if there’s a giant egg in the Breeding Farm. Take your Huge Scorched Egg to an Egg Incubator (ideally surrounded by fire or a heater) and wait for it to hatch. Without the boost of fire, it takes 30 minutes to hatch. But with heaters, it will only take 15 minutes.
