How to Unlock Pack-a-Punch

To unlock Pack-a-Punch you’re going to need to complete a few of the early steps involved in the main easter egg for Attack of the Radioactive Thing. We won’t go into detail regarding those just yet, but you can find out more details about the steps needed to complete the main Easter Egg by head to our guide. You’ll also need to make sure you know how to turn on the power, as electricity is needed to complete this part of the level.

Once you’ve reach a certain point, you’ll be able to head to the TV Studio and talk to Elvira. Once there, she’ll ask you to find a spell book for her. Make your way back to the Diner in the spawn area, and look for the spell book on a shelf near the Skull Hop arcade machine. Pick it up and then return to her to turn it in.

When you give Elvira the spell book, she’ll give you a green vial, which you’ll need to fill with green goo. Luckily this green goo is easy to find, and all you’ll need to do is kill soldiers in green uniforms and helmets. They’ll explode into acid when you defeat them, and you’ll acquire some goo for your vial. Keep doing this until the vial is full.

Return to Elvira and give her the filled vial. At this point she will join you, and start following you around. Lead her over to the blue portal, which will randomly appear around the map. To find the portal easily, look up in the sky for blue lights that give off the portal’s location. Many players have reported that the portal first appears outside the TV Studio, but others have also reported finding it in other places around the map. If it isn’t outside the studio, look for flashes in the sky and take Elvira to it.

Once Elvira arrives at the first portal, she’ll touch it, and open the portal to the Projector Room, where you’ll find the Pack-a-Punch. Now that you know how to find the Pack-a-Punch, you can start upgrading your weapons and making them more powerful for the fight ahead.
