Steam Next Fest brought a lot of new interesting games for players to test out, and one of the biggest games, Roadcraft, still has an ongoing demo until March 20, 2025.
RoadCraft is all about restoring devasted sites alone or with friends in an ever-changing environment. Interested? Here’s how to join the extended demo!
RoadCraft Could be One of the Biggest Hits in 2025
RoadCraft could easily be one of the biggest simulation games in 2025. The game features a robust sandbox with mind-blowingly good physics that lets players build anything they can imagine.
Roads get hit by natural disasters, and you are there to help restart the industry by clearing the debris, rebuilding roads, and creating bridges while adding your own little twist to it.
This next-gen heavy-machinery simulation sandbox game makes road restoration exciting — and even more so with friends. One of the game’s biggest features is its co-op mode, where multiple players can take on challenging tasks together — or destroy each other’s work and squabble over the tiniest detail.
These interactions started the Steam Next Fest demo and spread throughout the internet. The reaction trailer above gives you the gist. While the demo was short, the full game features more maps, contracts, activities, and awesome vehicles.
RoadCraft racked up over 350,000 players in its first week, making it the 3rd most-played demo on Steam. Because of the success, the demo has been extended to March 20, 2025, at 6 PM CET so everyone can join the fun.
If you enjoyed the demo, you can pre-purchase the game and get the Aramatsu Bowhead 3OT heavy dump truck, which can transport 30 tons of sand. Ordering the “Rebuild” edition includes more contracts, activities, vehicles, two new maps, and the Invictus Type A vehicle.
RoadCraft releases on May 20, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC
