The PC survival first-person shooter of Escape from Tarkov has seen an impressive rise when it comes to popularity in the video game community. A large portion of this newfound popularity has come from the title finding a great deal of success on the streaming platform of Twitch, where it has become one of the most viewed titles at the beginning of 2020. This rise in publicity has led to plenty of console players searching for whether or not Escape from Tarkov will be made available on their Xbox or PlayStation devices anytime in the future.
Will Escape from Tarkov be on Console?
Escape from Tarkov is currently in its Beta testing phase and is only available for PC players to experience. With the title still in its Beta phase, it is unlikely that console players will be able to play the survival title on their platforms of choice shortly. A console release would most likely not happen until the title is fully released on PC. However, Fortnite Battle Royale was released on consoles when still in its Beta phase, so this particular game might follow the same kind of release pattern.
However, developer BattleState Games has not yet made any official announcements regarding the possibility of the first-person shooter arriving on consoles. We will update this article with any new information regarding the arrival of the game on a console, if any is made available.
