Who is Tammy in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

So, you’ve run into Tammy in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Maybe you’ve bought a Nook Miles ticket, uncertain as to where the winds of fate will take you, and you’ve somehow landed on an island that isn’t just 80% bamboo shoots and/or spiders. Honestly, we’re happy for you, and not only because the Prima team has spent an ungodly number of Nook Miles on tickets to be met with trash pretty much every time. No! Not bitter at all!

However, if you’ve managed to put some work in when it comes to learning who each villager is before they arrive on your island for good (or at least for a few months), then you’ll likely also want to do some research on Tammy. Tamm is a bear, so if your village already has a surplus of those then you may not want another one (or maybe you do, if that’s your particular theme). Her birthday is on June 23, and she has one particular catchphrase which goes “Ya heard” because, well, she honestly loves to hoon around and have a bit of a gossip. She also wears a pretty trendy jacket which you can get the equivalent of in your Able Sisters though it looks like a sports and straightjacket cross. Truly, she’s serving looks.

Here are a few more trivia facts about Tammy in Animal Crossing New Horizons:

  • She can be a bit of a tomboy
  • She’s bright yellow, and her goal in life is to direct movies (maybe we should link her with Harv?)
  • She loved spooky things in Happy Home Designer
  • She won’t get along with villagers who are snooty, but will get along with jock and lazy villagers

Now that you know Tammy in Animal Crossing: New Horizons a little better, we reckon that she’s got a special charm that makes her pretty irresistible if you’re out to collect a bunch of “Big Sister” personality villagers who can kick your butt and also look after you at the same time. We reckon that she’s a great pick if you encounter her on a Mystery Island somewhere so please invite her back to your humble island!

If you’re looking for a different way to spruce up your island outside of having some truly cheerful and awesome villagers, then why not check out our guide on how to breed flowers? We reckon it’s important to have a welcoming ambience if you’re wanting people to invest in the future of your deserted island, so we’ve got some tips in easily-digestible video content below.
