Where to Get the Medicine Ingredients in Digimon Story Time Stranger

When you reach the Abyss Palace in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, you will encounter a mission called “On the Shores of Another World.”

This mission will eventually require you to get Medicine Ingredients to help Shellmon. However, the quest marker disappears, and you might have problems with the Medicine Ingredients. Here’s where to find it in DSTS.

How to Get Coveweed

To get straight to the point, the On the Shores of Another World Mission is as simple as following the quest marker and finishing the objectives. However, the objective marker disappears after you meet with Shellmon, and you are tasked with getting some medicine.

First, you’ll need to find some Coveweed, which would force you to circle back to the previous area. However, when you reach the previous area, the marker disappears. The Medicine Ingredient objective is still in the area.

Go near the center area, specifically the one where you are forced to swim around. Use the minimap above as a reference. Before you even reach this area, you’ll see a short cutscene, and you’ll get a new objective. You must defeat the Syakomon to obtain the Coveweed. Defeating one Syakomon should do the trick, but you can also clean out all the Syakomons around to get more levels. If you are on Balanced difficulty, you might need to level up some of your Digimon, as there’ll be a sudden difficulty spike soon.

Swim and DigiAttack the Syakomons in the area until you get a Coveweed drop. That should finish this task, but you’ll eventually get another request from Shellmon upon returning.

Where to Find Kamemon

Next, you’ll need to find Kamemon, which is said to be in the Abyss Beach. Again, there’s no objective marker for this one. Go to the exact spot, as shown in the image above with a red circle.

When you reach this pathway, you’ll get a short cutscene where Kamemon shows up stuck in the rocks above. You’ll have to save him by destroying the box with a DigiAttack. Aim up so you can target the box.

After saving Kamemon, go through the objectives and progress to the main arc of the Abyss Palace.
