Where to Get the Kinetic Blade Katana in Fortnite Chapter 4

Season 2 of Chapter 4 in Fortnite has plenty of new toys and weapons for players to use around MEGA City, but none of them seem to match the pure fun of the Kinetic Blade. This brand-new katana encapsulates the full cyberpunk and Japanese theme that players can expect for the next few months.

Of course, every new weapon has its own requirements for players to collect it. Some of them are obtained through pure chance, and others must be fought for if players deserve the right. Our Fortnite guide will outline where you can get your hands on the new Kinetic Blade katana.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 – Where to Get the Kinetic Blade

Nearly any katana that you run into will have an Epic Rarity attached to it, much like the Hammer from Chapter 4 Season 1. And in the same vein, the Kinetic Blade can be found randomly nearly anywhere on the map. Ground loot will be super unlikely, but chest spawns are certainly possible. With a little bit of juice in your RNG, you’ll have a chance to open up the katana in any chest.

Though you can earn the blade within most containers, there are still some spots that allow you to instantly pick up the Kinetic Blade katana in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. One of the new POIs, Kenjustsu Crossing in the south, will have guaranteed spawns on the wall in the dojos. You’ll have to fight against other players to take one for yourself.

Any of the new cyberpunk and Japanese-themed POIs will have a guaranteed Kinetic Blade spawn that you can help yourself to. When you pick one up, you’ll have access to the Dash Strike and the Knockback Slash to take down enemy players as fast as possible in close quarters.
