Where to Find Trishiraite in Genshin Impact? – Answered

Hopefully not as useless as we think

Gathering ascension items (also known as local specialties) in Genshin Impact was a big struggle back in the day, but it’s considered way easier now. We have various tools assisting us with that right now, such as characters who make the deed easier or that can locate those items in specific regions. One of the most recent ones was Trishiraite, an ore found in the Girdle of the Sands desert area in Sumeru.

The final desert area is infamous for its various underground paths that make exploration quite confusing when looking at a map. And having special, important items such as these hidden in those areas is definitely a hassle. But luckily, we do have a few methods of finding them without much struggle. Here’s where to find Trishiraite in Genshin Impact.

Where to Get Trishiraite Materials in Genshin Impact

Trishiraite is exclusive to the aforementioned Girdle of the Sands zones, which means that you should definitely put Tighnari in your party if you have him to locate them. His passive detects nearby Specialties while in Sumeru, so it makes the whole deed a lot easier.

But not you can find only a few selected Trishiraite ores around the area, most of them are underground, meaning that you need to complete the whole Khavarena of Good and Evil World Quest before exploring them.

Trishiraite in the Surface

There’s only a handful of ores easily accessible for players without all of their missions completed. They’re found around the entrance, but some of them are also nearby the Vourukasha Oasis.

Trishiraite in the Underground

These are all found around the different entrances to the underground tunnels. Not all tunnels are directly accessible until you complete all missions. Be ready as they can take quite a long time to complete.

Where Can I Use Trishiraite?

Trishiraite is currently the only Sumeru specialty that isn’t required for ascending any character nor used in any recipe. This will probably be changed in the future as we know that, despite the Sumeru updates being over, we’ll eventually get more characters from this region sooner or later. For all we know, it could even be used to ascend new characters in Fontaine, but only time will tell. We still need to learn more about those first.
