Baldur’s Gate 3 has plenty of quests, locations, and secrets to uncover. One of the first big tasks in BG3 will have players looking for the leader of the Druid Sanctuary Halsin. It might take you a bit to find him, but don’t worry, because we’re here to help. Here’s where to find the Druid Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3.
The Druid Halsin Location in BG3
You can find the Druid Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3 at the Shattered Sanctum just northwest of the Blighted City. It’s a dangerous road, so we recommend stocking up on potions of healing and plenty of camp supplies to long rest on your journey to saving Halsin.
Once you’ve made it to the Goblin Camp, you’ll need to head inside the big iron doors in the back, and then you’ll be inside the temple. Halsin can be found all the way in the back east corner of the map.
The door in that area will then lead you to the jail, which is pictured below.
We recommend bringing a party composition that will excel in combat. Characters like Karlac, Shadwoheart, and Lae’zel are all excellent picks for taking out the Goblin encampment and any other resistance you might find along the way.

You’ll know you’ve come to the right spot if you find some goblins throwing stones at a bear behind the giant iron gate. That bear is, in fact, our druid friend Halsin. Dispatch of the goblins without attacking the bear, and after the combat encounter Halsin will reveal himself.
Talk to him and tell him about what is happening back at the Druid Sanctuary. He will then ask you to help him kill all of the goblin leaders at this camp. After doing so, you can travel back to the Emerald Grove and meet back up with Halsin.
You can then continue on your journey with a new druid party member and a new lead on how to cure the Tadpoles inside your brain.
