Where to Find the Baby Carrier in The Sims 4: Growing Together

Even though the Baby Carrier is an item you wear on your Sims, you won’t find this in Create-a-Sim or the Build Menu. Instead, using your adult Sim, you’ll have to select your infant and look for “Set Preferred Back Carrier”. By doing this, you’ll find a list of currently available ones, including the PowerWalk Companion if you pre-ordered the Growing Together expansion pack.

After choosing a baby carrier, it’s time to use it! To do this, click on your infant again and pick “Put in Back Carrier”. Doing this equips the baby carrier to your adult Sim, with your infant appearing inside. If you want to take your baby out of the carrier, click on them and choose “Take out of Back Carrier”.

The Sims 4 Baby Carrier Social Option

Carrying a baby in a back carrier lets you perform activities like cooking, grabbing objects and even watching TV if you’re standing up. However, if you try to sit down somewhere, you’ll unequip the carrier, causing the infant to appear in your arms instead.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 through the official website. To learn more about the game, check out How to Learn to Ride a Bike in The Sims 4: Growing Together.
